Chapter 01

Listing on Bring a Trailer, MB Market, PCar and more

Performance Plus Detailing offers auction management for vehicles being listed on the popular enthusiast platforms. The shop names Bring a Trailer, MB Market and PCar, with others beyond them, and the work is the same idea on each: a car going in front of buyers who study every photo.

That is why the shop is a natural fit. Brian Severino has been detailing since before he opened the doors in 2006, and the business is enthusiast owned and operated. He understands the cars these platforms attract because he is one of those enthusiasts himself.

Every auction job starts the way every job here starts, with a free in-person consultation. You bring the car, say where you plan to list it, and the work is put together around that goal instead of a stock package.

Presenting the car

A listing is mostly photographs, and photographs show everything. Swirls and light scratches that look minor in the driveway read as haze under a camera flash. Paint correction takes them out, the same ten to twenty hours of compounding and polishing the shop does for any owner who wants nothing but the best paintwork.

The inside matters just as much. A full interior detail with steam cleaning, leather conditioning and odor removal means the cabin looks cared for in every shot, and the wheels, tires and wheel wells can get the same attention as the paint.

For cars with original parts worth showing, dry ice cleaning restores undercarriages and components to a like-new finish without water or abrasives on the parts. The shop lists auction vehicles among the jobs it suits best.

Chapter 03

A private shop, and a consultation first

The work happens at 458 Danbury Road in New Milford, in a private 3,000 sq ft facility with no public street traffic. The business started in a 500 sq ft garage in 2006 and moved here in 2013, and the car stays out of public view while the work is done.

The shop is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and closed weekends. It is hard to hear the phone over the equipment, so leave a voicemail at (203) 948-2194 and the call will be returned. Or send a message and ask for a consultation.

Fully licensed and insured. Customer satisfaction guaranteed.
